The SGC – Skylinks Golf Club Membership Terms and Conditions (2026)
Effective Date: These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are effective as of January 1st, 2026, for all memberships in the SGC – Skylinks Golf Club at Skylinks at Buchanan Fields in Concord, California. By purchasing / renewing a membership, you (“Member”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. NCGA Affiliation and Official Handicap
Skylinks Golf Club is an official NCGA-affiliated member club (Regular / Type 1). This affiliation provides legitimate USGA/NCGA Handicap Indexes through the Golf Handicap and Information Network (GHIN).
Your $49 annual dues include full NCGA membership and an official NCGA Handicap Index®. To keep your handicap active and valid under the World Handicap System (WHS) and NCGA rules:
- Post all acceptable 9- or 18-hole scores promptly and honestly via the GHIN app or course kiosk.
- Play rounds under the Rules of Golf at rated courses.
- Submit to peer review by the Handicap Committee and fellow members.
A minimum of 54 holes (any combination of 9- or 18-hole rounds) is typically needed to establish your initial Handicap Index. It then updates daily based on recent scores.
